Sink or Swim: can Ethereum make it without Buterin?
Ahoy there, blockchain dogs! It looks like Ethereum is in deep waters. Or perhaps not, as it’s too soon to tell. One is for sure: Vitalik Buterin is about to leave the Ethereum project.
Last week, on October 4, Buterin wrote on Twitter that Ethereum is “grown-up enough” to make it on its own. Though the altcoin’s co-founder hasn’t specified exactly when he’ll say goodbye to the ETH network.

Despite some price issues predicted by investor Tetras Capital in July, the “second to BTC” coin can boast of promising prospects. So, in September, Weiss Ratings stated that Bitcoin can lose 50% of its market share to Ethereum in the time to come. Quite a bold statement, eh?
